My family and I relocated to the Triangle area in 1991 with my husband's company. Since then, we have personally experienced two different geographical areas in the Triangle area of North Carolina and have moved four times. I know how much a smooth move can reduce stress in your life.

Because of the wide range in my children's ages I have volunteered and experienced different levels of education in North Carolina from elementary to college level. Schools are important in the life of my family, and I know what a difference they can make in your family members' lives.

On January 29, 1998 my youngest daughter, then age 8, was diagnosed with AML leukemia. Helping Sarah struggle with cancer and uniting with other families facing similar life threatening diseases has given me a new perspective on life.

My experience caused me to strengthen my pledge to meet each individual with sensitivity and concern for their personal needs.
